Cannabis Laws in Mallorca

In general, marijuana cultivation and use (in modest amounts) are legal in Mallorca, and you will be entirely within your rights to do so.
However, public consumption of weed is prohibited, despite the fact that many people continue to do so.
That isn’t to say you shouldn’t do it as well. Do you want to end up in trouble with the cops? Don’t worry, there are plenty of cannabis clubs and ‘coffee cafes’ in Mallorca where you can relax and smoke some excellent stuff.

You are legally authorized to produce (no more than two plants) and smoke marijuana on your own land. No one is going to hassle you about what you’re doing at home. You’re all right!

However, carrying more than 15 grams of marijuana in public is illegal. If you’re caught with more than that, you could face a hefty fine. If you have 15 grams or less, though, you will most likely be given a warning.
